9月17日美国特拉华大学到我校交流访问，董玉奎副校长在学校第一会议室隆重接待了来访嘉宾。特拉华大学招生办公室执行总监Douglas Zander代表学校向东营市一中授荣誉牌——“The  Excellent Student Base of the University of Delaware”。特拉华大学是美国最古老的一流公立研究型大学之一，本次交流访问旨在与我校建立长效的招生合作关系。

The University of Delaware is one of the oldest top-ranking public research universities in the United States. The purpose of this visit is to establish a long-term enrollment partnership with our school.

 

特拉华大学的两位教授Douglas Zander和Song Hoffman，对东营市一中现代大气、环境宜人、建筑精美的书苑式校园赞赏有加。两位学生引导员，落落大方、彬彬有礼，用流利的英语引导嘉宾参观校园，受到来宾的高度赞扬。

Our students Henry and Aria showed the foreign guests around the campus as volunteer guides. Both of them got highly praised from our guests.

 

最后Douglas Zander教授为一中学子做了一场题为《University of Delaware: Excellent at every level》的报告，通过Douglas Zander的介绍，让一中学子深度了解了无处不优秀的特拉华大学，尤其是几项属于特拉华的世界级高端研发成果，极大地激发了学生们“胸怀祖国，放眼世界”的情怀。报告会中，学生们就自己喜欢的专业向两位教授表达了自己的观点，Douglas Zander和Song Hoffman教授对一中学子敢于发表观点、大胆质疑的精神给予表扬和肯定。
